The Accenture scholarships meet a vital need for American Indian and Alaska Natives seeking higher education and having financial need. This program aims to encourage timely completion of the PhD. The Charlotte W Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship supports the final year of dissertation writing for PhD candidates in the humanities and social sciences whose research addresses ethical or religious values. Applications are being accepted for the Chateaubriand Fellowship program offered by the Embassy of France. The program offers 10 months of support for PhD students from US institutions to conduct research in France.

Recipients receive a stipend, health insurance, and funds for round trip travel to France. Students must be enrolled in at an American university. The purposes of this fellowship program are to: help junior scholars in the humanities and related social-science fields gain skill and creativity in developing knowledge from original sources; enable dissertation writers to do research wherever relevant sources may be, rather than just where financial support is available; encourage more extensive and innovative uses of original sources in libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and related repositories in the US and abroad; and provide insight from the viewpoint of doctoral candidates into how scholarly resources can be developed for access most helpfully in the future.

This fellowship is for undergraduate seniors or second year graduate students planning full-time study toward a PhD in the physical, engineering, computer, mathematical, or life sciences. Students involved in yearly conferences and have the opportunity to complete a practicum at a national DOE laboratory. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent resident aliens. Ford Foundation Predoctoral, Postdoctoral, and Dissertation Fellowships — 12/6/2018

The Fellowship position would involve frequent interactions with international counterparts and some international travel. Prior industrial efficiency experience and demonstrated project management skills are both required. Familiarity with energy management is also desirable. Additional allowances for medical insurance or transportation may be provided. P3 offers students quality hands-on experience that brings their classroom learning to life.
